The Zhuiguang S is being marketed as a "Tech FUV" (Fashion Utility Vehicle), but the real story is the all-aluminum chassis. It's a massive car—5050mm long with a 3000mm wheelbase—yet it’s packing a setup that's surprisingly aggressive for a mid-to-large SUV.

- Damping: EDC variable "magic carpet" suspension is standard across all trims, adjusting damping in real-time to kill body roll during hard cornering or soften up for potholes.
- Air Suspension: Higher trims get air springs with an 80mm adjustment range.
- Powertrain: The AWD version hits 475kW (combining a 300kW rear motor and a 175kW front motor), which is where that tunnel-looping power comes from.

They've even added a "Lanqing Mode" with simulated engine sounds and shifting rhythms. To be honest, simulating an internal combustion engine in an EV usually feels a bit forced, but it's an interesting attempt to bridge the gap for traditional car enthusiasts.
The "Everyday" Specs
Strip away the stunts, and you have a very competent 800V platform. It uses silicon carbide (SiC) and supports 5C fast charging. The 98kWh battery gets the RWD version up to 740km (CLTC), and they claim it can go from 20% to 80% in about 10 minutes.

Inside, it's a tech feast: dual 15.6-inch 2.5K screens, a 29-inch AR-HUD, and zero-gravity seats. It’s clearly trying to play both sides—performance for the driver and "fridge and TV" luxury for the family.
The Intelligence Layer
The real heavy lifting for daily driving comes from the Huawei partnership. The car uses the Huawei Qiankun ADS 5 system with four LiDARs.

- Main Sensor: One 896-line dual-path image-grade LiDAR.
- Blind Spot Coverage: Three solid-state LiDARs for close-range detection, narrow roads, and parking.
- Software: HarmonyOS 5.2 with the MoLA large model, which handles vague voice commands (e.g., "it's stuffy in here" triggers the AC/windows).
The pricing starts at 223,900 RMB for the RWD Max, going up to 273,900 RMB for the AWD Ultra+.
Is the "FUV" branding a bit pretentious? Probably. But combining an all-aluminum chassis with Huawei's sensor suite makes this a formidable competitor against the upcoming Xiaomi YU7 or Luxeed RX. It's a weird mix of "track-ready" ambitions and "soccer-mom" practicality, but that's exactly where the market is heading.
