Paddle Support: The AI Wall is Real

AI automation is supposed to streamline workflows, but my company is currently hitting a brick wall with Paddle's Merchant of Record support. We've moved from a functional dashboard widget to email support, and now we're stuck in a loop with an AI layer that refuses to escalate to a human.

The current "process" is a nightmare: you send a support email, get an automated AI response, and are told to reply to that email to reach a person. Except, the loop is broken. No matter how many times we reply, a human never enters the chat. It feels like some PM is taking a victory lap because their support ticket backlog has vanished, while the actual customers are just shouting into a void.

This isn't just a minor annoyance for us—they've misrouted our payouts. When it comes to money, "AI-powered efficiency" is a poor substitute for a real person who can actually fix a ledger.

If anyone here has a direct contact or an alternative email beyond [email protected] that actually reaches a human, I'd appreciate the lead. It's a frustrating reminder that replacing a support team with an LLM agent without a functioning escalation path is a recipe for disaster.

Had the same issue last quarter. Ended up spending days chasing a single billing discrepancy.

Are you using their API for the dashboard, or just the standard plugins?
