Overview

Multilingual E5 Large is a high-performance text embedding model designed for cross-lingual semantic search and retrieval. Unlike generative LLMs, this is a feature-extraction model that maps text into a dense vector space, making it ideal for building Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines or semantic clustering across multiple languages.
