Machine Learning Engineer, Recommendation Systems

Veloce Media Group is looking for a pragmatic Machine Learning Engineer to help scale our recommendation infrastructure. In this role, you will build and optimize production-grade retrieval and ranking pipelines using PyTorch and Spark, ensuring our models process high-throughput user interaction data efficiently. You will take ownership of the full model lifecycle, from exploratory data analysis and feature engineering to distributed training, A/B testing, and model monitoring in production. Working alongside senior engineers, you will contribute to our transition toward modern transformer-based recommendation architectures while maintaining strict latency SLAs. The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in machine learning fundamentals, hands-on experience deploying models to cloud environments (AWS or GCP), and a strong collaborative mindset.
